GROWING KITS
How many mushrooms can I grow from a kit?
Each kit produces at least two flushes (harvests), and sometimes more with good care and patience, results may vary.
Where should I grow them?
Near a bright window, but not in direct sunlight. Indirect natural light is ideal. A kitchen bench, laundry shelf or bathroom with some light and airflow works well.
What temperature is best?
Between 12–18°C is ideal. Slightly cooler at night is fine, think “fresh autumn forest.”
How do I water it?
Use a spray bottle to keep the growing surface moist. Spray generously twice a day minimum, especially once pinheads appear.
Do I need special skills?
Not at all. Our kits are designed for beginners. They’re intuitive, and designed to bring fungi into your everyday space. Just spray, wait, harvest, repeat.
How long until I harvest?
You’ll see baby mushrooms (pinheads) within 4–7 days of activating your kit. From there, they will take 2 more weeks to reach maturity.
How long can I store the harvested mushrooms?
Fresh is best, harvest and eat them in the next 3 days for the best experience. If needed, store in the fridge (unsealed paper bag is best) for up to 10 days. If slightly dried, rehydrate them in cooking.
What happens after my kit is finished?
Don’t throw it away! The leftover block can become compost or used as mulch in your garden to continue the fungal cycle.

What are your tinctures made from?
We use 100% Australian-grown mushrooms from our farm in the Blue Mountains EarthRising, primarily the fruiting bodies and never any imported powders or grain-based fillers. Our extracts are made using dual extraction (alcohol + water) to ensure full-spectrum potency.
What are the ingredients in your extracts?
Mushrooms, alcohol, and water. More specifically:

Alcohol: Organic grape alcohol (40% ABV), sourced in Australia.
Water: Pure spring water
How and where are your mushrooms grown?
All mushrooms used in our extracts are grown on our regenerative farm in the Blue Mountains or by local partners aligned with our organic and permaculture values.
Is there alcohol in your tinctures, and why?
Yes, about 25% alcohol by volume. Alcohol is used in the extraction process to draw out the full spectrum of beneficial compounds, especially triterpenes and other non-water-soluble components. It also helps preserve the tincture up to 12 months
Are your tinctures vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. All of our extracts are vegan, gluten-free, and contain no additives or preservatives. Just mushrooms, organic alcohol, and filtered water.
Do your tinctures contain starch or grain?
No. They are made from the actual Lion's Mane mushroom itself, the fruiting body.
How should I take the tincture?
Best on an empty stomach in the morning.
Most people take 1–2 droppers daily. You can take it under the tongue for fast absorption or mix it into tea, water, or a smoothie.
When should I take my extract?
Mornings are ideal, especially on an empty stomach. But follow your body's rhythm — consistency matters more than timing.
How do I store my extract?
Keep your tincture bottle in a cool, dark place. No refrigeration needed. Avoid direct sunlight and heat.
Is it harmful to take too much?
Our tinctures are designed for daily use. While there’s no known risk of overdose with functional mushrooms, more isn't always better. Stick to recommended use unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional.
When will I feel the effects?
Everyone’s different — some feel clarity or focus within days, others over weeks. These are not quick fixes; they work gradually and cumulatively.
Is it safe for everyone?
We always recommend speaking with your health practitioner, especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medications, or giving to children.

How does the guarantee work?

Not satisfied? Email us at hello@mindrise.au within 30 days of delivery with your order number and reason.
Return it: We’ll send you return instructions. Once we receive it, we’ll process your refund promptly.

What if I received the wrong item?
Mistakes can happen! If you received the wrong product, please email us a photo and your order number. We’ll send the correct item or offer a refund if preferred.
What if my item arrived damaged?
If your product arrives damaged, contact us at hello@mindrise.au with a photo and your order number. We’ll find a solution — case by case, with care.
Can I return a product if I change my mind?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can cancel it for you. If it has already shipped, you can return the product at your expense. Once received and confirmed in original condition, we’ll issue a refund (excluding shipping).

Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes! You can subscribe to receive tinctures regularly and save 20% on each order.
How do I manage or pause my subscription?
Simply log into your account and go to your Subscription Dashboard. You can skip a delivery, pause, or cancel anytime.
When will I be charged?
On the day your recurring order is processed. We send a reminder a few days before so you have time to adjust.

What payment methods do you accept?

Can I use more than one payment method per order?
Not currently — only one payment method can be used per checkout.
